If you choose a non-US country during the sign-up process, you will be prompted to link your non-US bank account to Polymaze. As an international freelancer, you have two payment options:
- Getting paid through wire payments For wire payments, you can expect payments to be available in your account the 1-3 business days after your invoice has been approved. We do not charge our freelancers for wire payments, but it's very likely that your bank will be charging you for receiving incoming wire. Fees might be charged as a separate line item on your statement, or you might receive reduced payment - so the amount you see on the bank statement is less than your invoice amount. We advice you to check with your bank to confirm the details before selecting wire as your option of payment to avoid confusion.
- Getting paid through our third-party payment vendor - Payoneer Our third-party payment vendor provides the capability for you to get paid in a form of prepaid card or electronic deposit (Global bank transfer). (For more information on Payoneer, please visit this "What is Payoneer?")
Prepaid card: If you choose to get paid with prepaid card, Payoneer will mail a master card to the address you have on the account profile. Whenever you get paid, payment will be deposited to your prepaid card and you can use their card to spend the funds online, in-store or withdraw cash at ATMs worldwide.
Global Bank Transfer*: If you choose this payment method, payment will be transferred to your linked bank account within 3-5 business days after your invoice is approved. Both options are subjected to Payoneer fees, which vary depending on your country. You will have the option to review fees during Payoneer account sign-up process.
*This option might not be available in your country. Please check the country supported by Payoneer by visiting this page: https://www.payoneer.com/global-bank-transfer/
For Payoneer users, if your linked bank account is outside of the U.S., Payoneer charges a fee of 2% above mid-market rates for the exchange from USD to their local currency.
